Combining art history with passion and curiosity, the art advisor and gallerist Marta Gnyp and the former medical doctor Giovanni Springmeier live in a house full of art that they open to visitors by appointment. Gnyp Springmeier collection focuses on contemporary art across different media made mostly during the last 30 years. Trying to find the works of the most relevance for our time, the Gnyp Springmeier Collection nurtures a dialogue between artists of different generations, originating from different backgrounds from all over the world.

You can walk through spacey rooms showing paintings by Rose Wylie, Jenna Gribbon, Danica Lundy, Klara Hosnedlova, Josef Yaeger, Zachary Armstrong and many others. You can stay face to face with sculptures by Raoul de Nieves, Phyllida Barlow but also by the very young Eva Fabregas. Works by Hugh Steers hang close to the ones by Louis Fratino and Justin Liam O’Brian. The collection also includes photography and videos, less often on display though.

Both Gnyp and Springmeier regularly loan and donate works to museums.
