In our brand-new video series, we see writer and curator and Francesca Gavin team up with social media influencers and art advocates embark on a journey to a handful of some of the exquisite collections featured in the BMW Art Guide by Independent Collectors.

For the second instalment, Gavin is joined by the Italian model and social-media influencer, Andrea Denver, as they dash around Upstate New York in their BMW i8 to visit the Mallin Collection and the Buckhorn Sculpture Park. Located in the picturesque town of Pound Ridge, New York, Sherry and Joel Mallin have dedicated their lives to building their very own magical sculpture garden.

Featuring over seventy outdoor sculptures, gardens, woodlands, a lake and an orchard, the Mallin’s have created an extraordinary haven for contemporary art, which includes artists such as Sol LeWitt, Joel Shapiro, Anish Kapoor and Dan Graham. In addition to the collection in their private residence and the Buckhorn Sculpture Park, the Mallin’s completed the 930-square-meter facility in 2001, known as the Art Barn, which will highlight an constantly changing collection of installations, videos, and sculptures.
